Who we are

Collette Hay - In 2015 DynicaBeauty Academy was launched. The drive and passion behind it was to inspire and nurture therapists to growth, achieve and excel within beauty, complementary and aesthetic therapy disciplines. Her journey has been inspirational, over 30 years with dedicated perseverance. Opening her Academy brought her lifelong dream to fruition, thus having a deep appreciation of the values needed to move forward in existing and new careers.

Her own career in beauty led to owning London based salons and later teaching in further education and private centres, leading her to becoming a CIBTAC International Examiner, Internal & External Quality Assurance, Assessor & Lecturer. To this day her passion for passing her experiences onto those who share the same ambitions remains rewarding.

Collette struggled with her own learning abilities against limited support and guidance, thus understands all the difficulties of being a part of a learning environment. Her Academy strongly values open access to diversity and equality and promotes welcoming, trusting environments to learn.

The demand for therapists within the industry is forever growing and learners investment time and financial commitment into training and education. Our courses are fully Ofqual compliant with the standards, legislation and quality assurance systems which support the learners journey from the beginning to long after their achievement.

The Academy is not just a training facility, it is community of lecturers guiding and supporting all who embrace the academy training.

Collette is so excited to announce, The Amethyst Centre and Philosophy of Beauty are offering DynicaBeauty Academy Focus Awards qualifications within their highly reputable training centres.

Chris Ramsbottom - Chris created the Amethyst Centre in 2015, following a period of time when drastic life threatening circumstances changed her life . When Chris recovered, the Centre was given to her and thus what followed was the creation in a dream. This dream has always been to bring on the next generation of therapists and help people on their life path, and the Centre has given her this ability to achieve this. Chris's own team of educators are of long standing professional skills industry and education backgrounds each possessing their own unique qualities in teaching.

Chris has a long standing successful educational background, having worked in Adult Education for some years prio to creating and opening up the Centre. Chris studies hard and achieved her Post-Graduate Certificate in Education: her specialism is Further and Adult Education. She retrained as a complementary therapist in 2007 and has been practising ever since, as a Teaching Reiki Master, aromatherapist, reflexologist and massage teacher. Chriss is married with three cats and loves progressive and classic rock music.

Marketa Priestly - Marketa created Philosophy of Beauty to bring together over 20 years of experience, Marketa is a seasoned professional in the fields of beauty, wellness, and holistic healing. As a skilled beauty therapist, aesthetician, acupuncturist, and holistic therapist, she seamlessly integrates Eastern and Western modalities to promote inner and outer well-being.

A passionate educator and mentor, Marketa shares her expertise with aspiring professionals, guiding them toward a path of holistic living and transformative healing.

Throughout her career, Marketa has remained dedicated to empowering others to embrace their natural beauty and vitality. Marketa is a valued member of our academy and excels within the delivery of our advanced aesthetic training courses. Marketa lover her family life and dedicates her time to her children.
